Our Story
Baseline started inside a Minnesota-based building inspection consulting firm that served cities, townships, and counties across the state.
When the tools available to manage permits, inspections, and licenses weren't cutting it, we built our own. Working directly alongside building officials, permit technicians, and inspectors gave us a firsthand understanding of how community development departments actually operate, something most software companies simply don't have.
What started as an internal platform has since grown into Baseline Technologies, a standalone software company with a full suite of tools now used by jurisdictions across Minnesota. Every feature we build is shaped by the people who use it every day.
